We love Eagle Rock. We love Los Angeles (the whole crazy region). We love California. We love being part of this community, no matter how narrowly or broadly you define it.

This year, we are excited to participate, again, in the 4th Annual We Heart Eagle Rock Block Party on November 29 (Small Business Saturday) and extend our huge thanks to Leanna Lin (of Leanna Lin's Wonderland) and Traci Green (of The Green Bean) for being such fabulous organizers.

To celebrate our amazing local artists, designers and makers, we put together a list of the beautiful, useful and delicious things we sell at Acorn that come directly from this great city or our close neighbors. Such as:

Ceramics by Sarah Petersen of Petersen Pottery Company, who lives and works right here in Eagle Rock. Her pieces are stunning and go oh so well with the assortment of succulents and air plants we have here at Acorn. We also have one-of-a-kind ceramics from Susan Babson.

Mid-century Modern inspired Planters by Modernica (Downtown L.A.), which are the perfect accessories to go with our many varieties of indoor or outdoor plants.

Small Leather Goods by This Is Ground (Downtown L.A.) for wrangling all your cords and gear, as well as Wallets by GowStar (Koreatown).

Jewelry by Marmol Radziner, Architects (Culver City) and Perez Bitan (Highland Park).

Delicious artisan Jams from Laura Ann's Jams (Echo Park) and Honey from Buzzed Honeys and those hard-working backyard bees (Glassell Park, Whittier and Ventura). Need more sweet? We also have Caramels and Marshmallows from Little Flower Candy Company (Pasadena).
